Axolotl Rescue
Privacy policy
1. Controller
Axolotl Rescue: Draw to Save (“the game”) is a game for Android developed by AmFun Studio
(app id: com.amfun.axolotlrescue). This policy explains what data the game uses, why, and what control you
have over it. Controller and contact: AmFun Studio, [email protected].
2. Data summary
| Data | Processed by | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Progress and sound | Your device only | Saving your levels, stars, score and whether sound is off | Until you uninstall the game or clear its data |
| Game events, installation identifier, technical device data, approximate country and, depending on your consent, advertising ID | Google Analytics for Firebase | Statistics to improve the game | Event-level data: 14 months; afterwards, aggregated reports only |
| Advertising ID, IP address, device data and ad interactions | Google AdMob | Serving and measuring ads (rewarded and full-screen) | Under Google's policies |
On small screens, swipe the table sideways.
3. What we store
- On your device only: your progress (unlocked levels, stars and score) and whether you turned sound off. It never leaves your phone (the game opts out of Android cloud backup) and is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data. Your drawings are neither stored nor sent.
- No accounts or sign-up, and we run no servers of our own. The only data that leaves your device is what Google AdMob and Google Analytics for Firebase receive, described below.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads through Google AdMob: an optional rewarded ad (more ink to retry the level) and, every few wins, a full-screen ad before the next level. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process data from your device, such as the advertising ID, IP address (approximate location), device information and how you interact with ads. Google handles this under its own policies: how Google uses data in advertising and the Google Privacy Policy.
Consent
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland (and wherever the law requires it) the game asks for your consent with Google's form before loading ads.
- If Google indicates that ads cannot be requested without your consent, the game loads no ads (more ink with an ad will not be available).
- If ads are allowed but you did not accept personalization, non-personalized ads are requested.
- If the form cannot be loaded (for example, offline), the game keeps working and requests non-personalized ads only.
- You can change your choice at any time: i button in the menu > Privacy options (shown when it applies to your region).
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Google > Ads).
5. Gameplay statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played and to improve it (for example, which levels are too hard or too easy).
What is sent
Game events: start, win and loss of each level, with the level number, attempt number, whether you used the extra ink, stars and score, the cause of the loss and how many parts of your line broke; whether the rewarded ad was offered and what happened with it; and whether the full-screen ad was shown. Google adds technical data: an app installation identifier, device model and OS version, language, approximate country or region (from the IP address, which Google does not store) and the Android advertising ID (unless you deleted it in Android settings; in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, only if you accepted storage for ads). We do not send your name, email, precise location or any data that directly identifies you.
Why
Only statistics to improve the game. We do not use them for our own advertising and we do not sell them. Google processes them as a data processor on our behalf.
Retention
Event-level data is kept for 14 months in Google Analytics and then deleted; aggregated reports may be kept.
Consent
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the statistics only use on-device storage and identifiers if you accepted them in Google's consent form (Google Consent Mode v2); otherwise that identifier is not stored and Google only receives unidentified signals. In other countries they are used by default.
How to opt out
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, you can withdraw your consent at any time from Privacy options. In any country you can uninstall the game (everything stops being sent).
Data deletion
You can ask us to delete your installation's statistics by writing to [email protected] with your Analytics ID, shown under the i button in the menu (“Copy” button). With no accounts, that ID is the only way to find your data; we delete it in Google Analytics within 30 days.
Google's policies: Google Privacy Policy and privacy in Firebase.
6. What we don't do
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone other than the Google services described above.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or Argentina's Law 25,326) you can, at any time:
- delete your local data by uninstalling the game or clearing its data in your phone settings;
- ask us for access to or deletion of your installation's statistics, quoting your Analytics ID (i button in the menu);
- withdraw your consent from Privacy options, or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Email [email protected].
8. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version at this same address, with its date. Privacy questions or requests:
